Matt + Amanda | Vintage Picnic Engagement Session

After months of dreaming about it, we finally made Matt + Amanda's "vintage picnic" engagement shoot come to life. As you will see, Matt and Amanda have a very unique look: Matt with his thick black beard and Amanda with her adorable frames and auburn hair. When thinking about their engagement session I knew we had to so something a little different.

When dreaming up the session I knew I wanted to capture them going on an adventure. I love a session that tells a story. I envisioned them traveling to their picnic in the late evening and playfully flirting into the night. If you know Matt and Amanda, you know that their session had to be fun!

Unlike most of my work, I wanted this session to reflect a darker more vintage feel. After securing an old truck (thanks Georgia!) the rest was a breeze. I love this session so very much and am honored I was able to photograph two of our very favorite people as they celebrate their love.

Now, take a journey with them down this dusty dirt road...

Adam + Amber | Atlanta Braves Turner Field Engagement

When Adam asked Amber to marry him at a Braves home game at Turner Field the answer was YES!

I just can't tell you guys how excited I was when Amber told me that she and Adam had reserved the Altanta Braves' stadium for their actual engagement session. I'm certain I squealed like a little girl. Not only is my family HUGE Braves fans but Turner Field is so dynamic and unique as a photo backdrop I knew we would get some really neat shots. Apparently, the stadium only allows a hand full of people to do this and the reservations have to be made several months in advance. Because my beautiful clients are creative and out-of-the-box planners we got to do something a little different. Not only did I get to take my shoes off and run across the field like a 12 year old but I also got to capture some truly amazing moments of Adam and Amber as they celebrate this special season of their lives.

Adam + Amber : Thank you for such a fun session. This one gets a check on my "Photography Bucket List" and for that I am grateful. You guys are AWESOME.

And for a couple fun shots from behind the scenes :)

Chris + Heather | Vinewood Plantaion & J.Andrew's Bridal Shoot

A few weeks ago I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Chris + Heather, a husband and wife photography team (you can check out their work here - such an inspiring duo). This beautiful couple decided they wanted to start their 13th year of marriage off with some spice. The three of us hooked up this J.Andrew's Bridal boutique + Vinewood Plantation for a smokin' hot husband and wife styled shoot.

I love teaming up with other vendors and developing something creative and inspiring, a look that's different than the everyday shoot. Heather's black sequin dress was nothing short of amazing. Chris was rocking his tux, and together they were magical. I can't tell you how many times I had to stop shooting just to catch my breath - these two were steamy and so much fun to work with! I can't wait to get together again :)

If you were to ask Chris + Heather I know they'd agree... marriage truly does get sweeter with time. Congrats on 13 years, wishing you guys many many more!!
