Capturing young love is such a delight! Brandon and Melanie are so darn cute I can't even stand it! These two love birds had me smiling ear-to-ear the entire time I was with them. Their cheerful and lively personalities made for such a fun session. 

I love photographing engagement sessions and capturing the chemistry between two people with my camera. I always tell my clients that I will help position them but it's the moments in between that are my favorite. Whether it's a certain smile they give each other when they flirt, the way she casually touches his leg when she sits beside him, or a soft kiss he gives her on the forehead — it's the little things that make  the moments we will never forget. 

I can't wait to capture Brandon and Melanie's wedding day next April. How lucky am I?! Look at these beauties...

Derek + Ashley | Newnan, Ga Maternity Photographer

I am so obsessed with Derek + Ashley's maternity session! I love working with people who trust in me and my vision, ready to go anywhere and do anything. On a whim, I made Ashley's baby's breath floral headpiece about 10 minutes before we headed out to shoot (how's that for waiting until the last minute?). Sometimes I get these ideas and just throw something together. It may not have been perfectly made but it was pure perfection for their session. And wait until you see her sweet baby bump... it is teeny & adorable! Would you believe Ashley is 37 weeks here? I typically photograph maternity sessions between 30-33 weeks. When I saw Ashley at 33 weeks into her pregnancy I told her she needed to bake that baby girl a little longer so we could really see that bump in her pictures. Even at 37 weeks she's tiny! Man, I sure do wish I would have had that problem...

Vinewood Plantation | 2014 Spring Open House

As always, it is such a pleasure to be at Vinewood Plantation. This spring, I had the wonderful opportunity to join several wedding vendors in efforts to showcase our work to brides who are planning their big day. Vinewood guests were left swooning after seeing the most beautiful "hot pink + honey bee" inspired Open House. I had so much fun mingling with fellow photog friends, and the scenery was absolutely gawjus (as Jamie would say)! 

I have included a few photographs of the work of some amazingly talented vendors who worked countless hours designing and setting up their booths. The creative energy and know-how these vendors exude is insane! I have listed vendor names and their links at the end of this post. (I have probably forgotten some -so sorry if I left anyone out!!)
