I am thrilled beyond measure to finally be able to share these photos with you guys! Being one of Vinewood Plantation's hand-picked vendors is such a treat. Every Spring + Fall season Vinewood hosts an Open House for upcoming brides. The event consists of several different vendors in the wedding industry showcasing their talents. Brides make their way through the stables getting a chance to meet photographers, florists, designers, event rental companies, videographers, caterers and bakers (and more!) in hopes to develop the perfect wedding team. It's always a packed house full of creatives who love sharing what they do. This year's theme was "apple orchard." It was so neat seeing how everyone added their own apple-y twist. The SVP booth had DIY mulled spice favors that I made for everyone who dropped by. They were such a hit! You can see the full tutorial on how I made them here.
In addition to Open House, Jamie Elliott, designer and owner of Vinewood Plantation, asked me if I'd be interested in doing a styled shoot that afternoon before all the brides arrived. OF COURSE I would!!! What an honor, really. :) So, that's just what we did! With a fabulous team of creatives we were able to capture the perfect Fall scene: flannel, tulle, and feathers were Jamie's inspiration. Oh, it doesn't get much better than that... but wait, it does! Weddings Unveiled Magazine loved it so much they featured it last week. You can see their full feature here. (happy photographer dance)
I am so excited to see where this year takes SVP. This sure does feel like a sweet start to 2015. Looking forward to sharing much more pretties in this space but until then, let's start with the sunny Fall day at Vinewood Plantatoin that I've been telling you about...
You can find a full vendor list and photos from some of my other photographer friends over here. Here are a few iphone photos from the day:
Me, hard at work. Or hardly working?
Below is Jamie and I in front of the VW stables. I seriously adore this man! I am so thankful for all that he's done for my business. He is one in a million and I'm blessed to call him my friend.
Below is Beauty Asylum, the team that did the hair and make-up for the styled shoot above. We shared a booth at Open House and work together all the time. I've been loving Jessica (the owner, left) since we were in 1st grade. Get this: we used to do each other's hair and make-up on slumber party days when we were little girls. We would have photo shoots with those disposable kodak film cameras. I may just need to go digging (wink* wink*). But really, who would have thought we'd be business owners doing the same thing as adults?!

HA! I love your post and I love you! It gave me chills. :) Miss you friend.
How amazing photographs!! The couple is looking so cute!! I am also looking to hire an experienced Port Macquarie Photographer
for my pre wedding shoot. Please provide some tips to hire best photographer!!
We got married at my parents' home on top of a mountain, and the logistics, particularly the puzzle of shuttling vendors and guests up and down a one-lane mountain road, were handled effortlessly by my event coordinator.
