Brittany and I met in the 9th grade when we were chosen to be the freshman homecoming court representatives. Man, we thought we were so cool! In fact, here we are. Check out those baby faces... 

Each year on homecoming court Brittany and I grew closer. Although we were good friends, we didn't become besties until we both moved back home to Newnan during our college years. Becoming young wives and mothers brought us closer than anything else. I am so thankful that I had Brittany to lean on and relate to- she has been a blessing in so many ways. 

Today, our families are great friends and spend a lot of time together. We vacation together each summer and visit each other often. We LOVE the Turners! If you know Brittany and Mitchell you know just how awesome they are. Brittany and Mitch, I hope you enjoy these photos for years to come! Love ya'll :)

Carrolls | McDonough, GA Maternity Photographer

A few months ago a friend of mine, Renee, gave Fran my information so we could set up a maternity and newborn session. I'm so glad she did- thanks Renee! :)

Fran and I met in downtown McDonough on a beautiful fall morning in October. As you will see in the photos, the lighting was superb. I couldn't have paid for light like that, seriously. Because Fran's husband had an unexpected trip to China come up for work, she and I decided to go ahead with the maternity session as planned. We met again a few weeks later when her husband, Milton, came back in town. We had two very successful sessions. Woo hoo!

Milton and Fran will be expecting their sweet little bundle of joy this December. Guess who the lucky newborn photographer is... ME! I am so excited to meet their little girl. Like her parents, I am counting down the days. Stay tuned, you'll get to meet her very soon.

Milton and Fran, thank you for allowing me to a part of such a special time in your lives. I look forward to watching your family grow. I'll be seeing you three soon- yipee!

Pierce Family | Newnan, Ga Photographer

Cassie and I go way back. In fact, we go all the way back to the Red Braves cheerleading squad in elementary and middle school- remember those days, Cassie? Spending time with the Pierce family definitely brought back some very dear memories of my childhood. I love it when that happens through photography.

I traveled out to Cassie and Michael's home in Griffin to photograph their family. We had a lot of fun riding around looking for places to take pictures- they live out in the country so there were many great spots to choose from! Harleigh, Cassie's daughter, was such a doll baby (don't you just love her name?). I won her over by showing her pictures of Ariston. Once she knew that I was a mommy she figured she could trust me ;)

Amelia | Newnan, GA Children's Photographer

Little Miss Amelia was such a sweet baby. A few weeks ago I met her mother and grandmother in downtown Newnan. I had my bestie, Dayna, with me to help. My what a difference it makes having an extra set of hands. Unbelievable. Thanks, Dayna! :)

It was such a beautiful fall day, we couldn't have asked for better weather. The sun was shining and the temperature was just right- perfect conditions for an outdoor baby session. Although Amelia wasn't quite sitting up by herself we made it work. That's what it's all about, right?! As usual, I went crazy over all of her precious little girly outfits. We had a lot of fun. 

Aubree, thank you for letting me spend some time with your sweet baby girl. She is truly a gift. Congratulations, I know you're one proud momma!

... as I hit snooze for the third time while simultaneously realizing I can't REALLY get ready in 30 minutes, that... yes, I did need the hour I set it for- CRAP! (because, DUH, it always take me an hour)

I just love being around the Brooks. They are awesome, all the way around.

A few weeks ago (six months after pregnancy and newborn photos) Kristy asked me to take some family pictures. Of course I said yes! Who could pass up on getting the chance to see how much Colson had grown?! Not me :) It is astonishing how much babies change in the first few months of life- it's so much fun to see.
